Picture time!

Here are some pics in the girls valentine outfits!  They were in a really silly mood when we took these!

Daddy trying to convince Kaylee to put the pacifier away for a little bit!

And curtsy!

Emmy got up on their dresser to take some pics….so….

Then Kaylee had to join her!

Kaylee has a really long tongue and she like to show it to us a lot!

Angel pose!

Emmy wanted to do “silly” pictures!  This usually just means she yells really silly things while we take the picture!

All 3 Baker girls!

Groundhog Day and Valentine’s Day!

So in Feb. we had offered on a house  that turned out being a bad deal so we pulled out!  Anyway, since we busy with all that stuff we didn’t get to do our annual Groundhog Day Extravaganza!  But we did still celebrate!  Here are some pics from Groundhog day and Valentine’s too!

Here’s the groundhog emerging from his long winter’s nap!

Kaylee trying out Daddy’s shoes!

For some reason the selection of Groundhog day decorations is slim in most stores.  They just haven’t caught the vision yet I suppose!  Here are some homemade signs!

It’s hard to find a really good recipe for Groundhog!  🙂

Emmy and Daddy made me chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day!! Emmy was so excited she brought them up to me for breakfast!  They were so good!

We also had some choc. covered strawberries at Emmy’s dance recital!  She made sure to tell everyone that they were her mommy’s favorite and that she had made some for me!

And here were some of the v-day cupcakes we took to our secret valentine family!  My mom sends us valentine sprinkles and cupcake wrappers each year!  Which is great because our ward also does secret v-day families and you take them diff. treats!

Snow Day!

Okay, since it is like 87 in my house right now, playing in the snow looks so great!! Here are some pics from one of the snow days we had this winter!

I don’t know if she is working on the snowman or throwing snow at daddy!

Alex next to his creation!!

What a cute little girl!  Kaylee loved the snow!

So we didn’t have any coal so this snowman is made with cheerios and fruit loops!  Oh yeah, and a baby carrot nose!

Even mom finally joins the fun!  Pajama pants and all!

Grandpa Max’s B-day!

Here’s Grandpa Max’s cake!  (The cake might look a little plain but there was a surprise that came with it!)

Make a wish!

So here was the big surprise!  Along with the cake we made ice cream potatos!  Max grew up on a potato farm and Alex and I had thought about making these before so it was fun to actually do!  I think Grandpa was really surprised when we brought this out for dessert!  You make them by rolling ice cream in cocoa and topping it with cool whip and sprinkles!  Yummy!  Happy B-day Grandpa  Max!

New Year’s Eve

Whenever we are Spokane for Christmas we go bowling on New’s Year’s Eve day!  This time my dad kept Kaylee at home and Annah had already left for her CRUISE!  So we were a smaller crowd but we still had fun!

Emmy and Daddy!  Emmy loves bowling!

Two thumbs up!

This is the scarf Christina gave me for Christmas!  Don’t I look hip?

“I just got a strike…again…”

Christian in his Gonzaga shirt!  Or should I say in one of his Gonzaga shirts.

My Mom is actually a really good bowler!  She and Alex usually beat all of us!

Emmy was way excited I let her pick something out of the vending machine!

Happy New Year!!

Christmas Day!

Well, it’s June now…so that must mean it’s time for a post about Christmas!  Sorry we are so behind on our blog!  But, since we’ve been getting so many requests/threatening emails about updating our blog with pics of the new house I’m going to just be flying through the last 6 months!  Anyway, we did have a great Christmas back in 2009 and here are some pics from that!  Enjoy!

Our stockings were too full to stay hung by the chimney!  Thanks Santa!

So most of the pictures from Christmas morning are a blur because the girls were too excited to stand still for a picture!  Kaylee didn’t even really know what was happening but she could see Emmy was excited so she was running around screaming too!

Christian and Annah look somewhat less excited to be up that early! 🙂 Just kidding!  All the adults actually woke up before Emmy and Kaylee (they slept in till like eight). So I finally made a bunch of noise in the kitchen until they woke up!

Alex is like a little kid on Christmas morning (and most of the year)! 🙂

More blurry excitement on the way out to the living room!

The loot!

Kaylee relaxing in her new tent!

Emmy and Kaylee both got laptops from Grandpa and Grandma Layman!  They were a big hit!

Merry Christmas Everybody!
