Spokane City Landmarks

Downtown Spokane was the former host of the World’s Fair, and we like to visit some of the landmarks each year… the big giant wagon, the carousel, and the goat statue that sucks trash out of your hands. We didn’t take pictures of all of them this visit, but here are the block letters of Spokane and the Radio Flyer:

Once there was a snowman…

A week or so ago we made two new friends (and a dog). These friends were our snowman friends, and Emmy gave the baby one that Annah and Christina made a kiss.

Emmy Meets Santa Claus

Emmy went to the Mall in Spokane to meet Santa Claus over our break. At first it was tons of fun and she was super excited, but then the terror struck: the little girl in front of her was afraid of Santa. Oh no! What should she do? That’s right. She should cry… and cry she did. Poor girl! Maybe next year…

Emmy’s Christmas Card

This year Emmy was the star of our Christmas card – this is the picture we used! She very much enjoyed this outfit, especially because she could point at the Reindeer toes, one of which has a red nose like Rudolph!

Pardon the mess…

Bear with us for a few more days and we should have the site back up and running. We’re switching back to WordPress because of some problems with comments on the old blog, mostly related to the hundreds of spam comments we were getting every day. We’re now in the process of restoring old posts from the Drupal site – unfortunately we won’t be able to get all of the comments back, but we’ll at least be able to get new ones this way!
