Anyway, without the pictures it&#8217;s pretty much just words&#8230;blah blah blah!\u00c2\u00a0 So, I will quickly tell you what we did and follow it up with some funny stories&#8230;so hang in there&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>1) We went to Kohl&#8217;s (how unlike me) with Kath and I actually got to try a few things on since she played with the girls! Thanks Kath! 2) A quick trip to Trader Joe&#8217;s to buy some delicious apple bars, potato gnocchi, and ginger cats.\u00c2\u00a0 It had been awhile since I&#8217;d been there and Emmy&#8217;s snack cupboard was pretty bare.\u00c2\u00a0 3)We walked around UNM campus and bought Alex&#8217;s graduation robes!\u00c2\u00a0 Good thing he&#8217;s getting his master&#8217;s so he can wear black robes instead of bright Lobo red. 4) Children&#8217;s museum- totally awesome!\u00c2\u00a0 Giant blocks, musical instruments, a pool full of bubbles!\u00c2\u00a0 Toddler heaven!\u00c2\u00a0 She loved it! We were there for 2.5 hours and she still couldn&#8217;t get enough!<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, thanks for reading the random things we did today&#8230;now as promised some funny stories.<\/p>\n<p>So the other day Emmy was eating dinner and all the sudden she started counting in spanish.\u00c2\u00a0 She counted from 1 to 5. She&#8217;d never done that before and we were pretty impressed so we asked who taught her that.\u00c2\u00a0 (I was pretty sure it was from Dora).\u00c2\u00a0 She sat there and thought for a couple seconds then she got really exctied and said &#8220;Jesus&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 Looks like her primary teachers are doing their job!<\/p>\n<p>Then, a couple days later we were sitting at the table again and this time she started singing a song she made up.\u00c2\u00a0 It went like this &#8220;Daddy looks like mommy, mommy looks like Kaylee, Kaylee looks like Papa, Papa looks like Aunt Beth, and so on using every person she knows (literally).\u00c2\u00a0 Until finally someone looked like Emmy.\u00c2\u00a0 Then she stopped and said &#8220;Emmy looks like a diamond ring!&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 Which I thought was random&#8230;so I asked her where she got that idea from.\u00c2\u00a0 Then she yells at the top of her lungs &#8220;FROM CHINA!&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 What a smart alek!\u00c2\u00a0 Seriously, who does she think she is, Michelle Tanner!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So today we went to the children&#8217;s museum and we had a lot of fun!\u00c2\u00a0 But unlike on Reading Rainbow you ARE going to have to take my word for it because I forgot my CAMERA!!
