So this was Alex’s last spring break…EVER!! He graduates in May! Woohoo!\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, we decided that since it was his last we should actually do something.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We decided on going to Phoenix for spring training and to see my mom’s side of the family!\u00c2\u00a0 We had a great time!\u00c2\u00a0 Some of the highlights include my Grandma’s B-day party, playing with family, seeing my college roomie Kasey and her family, a trip to IKEA and of course seeing the Royals stomp on the Dodgers! BAM!\u00c2\u00a0 It was definitely a full trip but so worth it!\u00c2\u00a0 Here are some pictures!<\/p>\n

Alex and Emmy at the Royals\/Dodgers game!\u00c2\u00a0 Alex bought the girls some royals shirts while we were there…I will have to take some pictures of that sometime!<\/p>\n

GO ROYALS! They won by a lot…I don’t remember the score anymore…but it was a lot…<\/p>\n

Here is Emmy and Carson playing with Emmy’s doll stuff!\u00c2\u00a0 Carson was also very nice and let her play with his trucks and farm!<\/p>\n

This is my college roommate, Kasey.\u00c2\u00a0 We visited with them and went to Red Robin! Yum!<\/p>\n

It was my Grandma’s Birthday while we were there so most of my mom’s family got together at a park for a birthday picnic.\u00c2\u00a0 It was great because we got a chance to see a lot of my cousins, aunts and uncles!\u00c2\u00a0 Here is a pic of my cousin Joanne and me.<\/p>\n

This is my cousin Stacy and me!\u00c2\u00a0 Her daughter is about the same age as Emmy so we went over to Stacy’s house and let the girls play together for a bit!<\/p>\n

Here’s Ashlyn and Emmy together!\u00c2\u00a0 We had gone out to dinner with Stacy and Chet the night before and Emmy and Ashlynn had been holding hands…so we had them recreate it the next night when we had our cameras because it is really cute!<\/p>\n

Me, Kaylee and the Birthday Girl!\u00c2\u00a0 Kaylee loved the warm weather while we were there because she didn’t have to be bundled all the time!\u00c2\u00a0 She loved kicking her legs and being able to look around!<\/p>\n

Here we standing outside my Aunt Cindy’s house before church.\u00c2\u00a0 I like this picture because it has palm trees in it!\u00c2\u00a0 We drove past two nurseries that sold palm trees and I really wanted to get one…just to see if it would survive in Los Alamos.\u00c2\u00a0 But seeing as it’s already snowed here TWICE since spring break…I guess it was for the best that Alex said no way!<\/p>\n

My grandma’s birthday was actually on Sunday so we snuck out of church early to go visit with her (don’t tell anyone or I’ll get kicked out of my calling…actually on second thought…Just kidding)\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, we had a great time visiting with her and Emmy showed her the new tea set she got from IKEA.\u00c2\u00a0 Emeline is actually named after my Grandma’s mother, Julia Emeline (but she went by Emeline).\u00c2\u00a0 (I am named after her too…in case you didn’t pick that up!)<\/p>\n

Emmy LOVED eating at the counter in my Aunt’s house.\u00c2\u00a0 She got to sit up on a tall stool and it made her feel like a BIG girl.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, she was being a total ham the morning we left so I took a few shots!<\/p>\n

Emmy had a total love\/hate relationship with my aunt’s dogs!\u00c2\u00a0 In fact Emmy just walked in and so I will write what she is saying!\u00c2\u00a0 “There are my friends!\u00c2\u00a0 Daddy and I go throw balls to doggies.\u00c2\u00a0 Tilly and Max!”\u00c2\u00a0 She was really afraid of them when we first got there but she worked on it each day and was finally down on the ground playing with them by the time we went.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 One minute she would want them locked outside and the next she would want to hug them!\u00c2\u00a0 She had a lot of fun throwing the ball to them!<\/p>\n

And finally, here is my Aunt Cindy who was nice enough to let us stay with her!\u00c2\u00a0 I meant to take a picture with her and my uncle Lee…but I forgot!\u00c2\u00a0 I am not so great at remembering to get out the camera!\u00c2\u00a0 But I did remember to take one before we left!\u00c2\u00a0 We had a great time!!\u00c2\u00a0 It was snowing just over the N’mex border so we almost turned around!\u00c2\u00a0 We will have to visit again!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
