We need your help! Julia’s due date is less than a month away, and we haven’t thought of a name yet. OK, let me be more specific. We’ve had the baby’s name for a few months now (her name is Kaylee), but we don’t have a new name for our blog! You see, this blog was created just before Emmy was born, but “Julia and Alex plus one” only works for a family of three. So let’s hear it! What should our new blog name be?

Oh, I’m glad there are choices! You are more clever at this than I am. I was just thinking “Julia and Alex plus two” but now that I see alllll the choices I like “Julia and Alex plus fun” and “Julia and Alex plus one plus one.”
Nobody better mark “You shouldn’t even have a blog.”
If I think of anything else better (not likely) I will tell you.
I think I like “Julia and Alex plus fun” best because that way you can use it for the next 18 years and the 10 more kids you’ll have. It could even be the name of your show on TLC. Larry would like “Julia and Alex plus one++” but that’s because he’s an engineer, (not a bad thing, by the way, I like my roads, water and sewer systems as much as the next person).
In case some of you don’t know who I am, “Elder” Alex Baker was one of my favorite missionary companions; and I love reading your blog. I’m grateful to still be in touch with Alex after 7 years and to see how happy he is with his beautiful family. After already voting in the poll, I thought of another name for the blog that made me chuckle so I thought I’d share it with you. How ’bout:
“Julia & Alex, almost outnumbered” ;).
Hi, I’m back. No, I guess I don’t have a life or a family to take care of.
Along Adam’s line of thought, there is the whole Parenthood - Outwit, Outlast, Outplay theme. (Not sure I got those in the right order.)
I also like “Baker’s Dozen” as kind of a prophecy …
I have some more ideas stewing around (not good ideas, necessarily, but ideas nonetheless), I may be back.
I’ve been in “witty blog title mode” for a couple days, trying to come up with mine…..what about “What’s Cookin’ at the Baker’s”
Okay, those are some really good ideas, too!

Okay, I’ve been thinking some more…what about: “The Bakers” as your title, and “Come See What’s Cookin’” as the subtitle
or just “see what’s cookin’”. Or “What’s Cookin’ over at the Baker’s”?
Hmmm….now this is starting to sound like a cooking show. maybe that would give the wrong idea.
How’s everything going? I imagine that Kaylee will make her debut REALLY soon! We’re excited for you guys! Can’t wait to read about it and see pictures! Post soon, ok?:)
